Controls & Safety Check
All thermostats, pressure relief valves, motorised valves and safety interlocks tested and confirmed working correctly.

Inspection for sooting, cracking or blockage — which causes inefficiency and can be a safety concern.
Gas Pressure & Burner

How often should I service my boiler?
Every boiler manufacturer recommends an annual service — typically once every 12 months. Annual servicing keeps your warranty valid, maintains efficiency, and catches small faults before they become expensive breakdowns. Most landlords are legally required to service gas appliances annually.
How much does a boiler service cost?
Our standard annual boiler service costs from £80 all-inclusive — this covers labour, gas safety checks, combustion analysis, and your written Benchmark certificate. There are no hidden charges.
How long does a boiler service take?
A standard combi boiler service takes 60–90 minutes. If the engineer finds a minor fault or needs to clean a component more thoroughly it may take slightly longer, but we'll always let you know.
Will servicing my boiler void the manufacturer warranty?
The opposite — skipping a service is what voids most warranties. Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Baxi, and Viessmann all require annual servicing by a Gas Safe registered engineer for the warranty to remain valid. We complete the Benchmark record on every service.
Can I service my boiler myself?
No. Gas appliance servicing must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer — it is a legal requirement. Attempting to service or work on a gas boiler without registration is illegal and extremely dangerous.
