Silver (£159) adds a full clean-out: condensate trap, magnetic filter, burner, and electrodes cleaned, plus system inhibitor top-up. Gold (£340) goes further with a full strip-down, new burner gaskets, new ignition/flame-sensing probes, heat exchanger clean, and comprehensive combustion checks — recommended for older boilers, missed services, or landlords wanting the highest level of maintenance.

If your boiler is relatively new and you've had it serviced every year, Bronze is perfectly adequate. If it's a few years old or you've missed a service, Silver gives you a much more thorough clean. What is a CP12 landlord gas safety certificate?
