How long does a boiler installation take?
Most standard combi boiler replacements take 4–8 hours and are completed in a single day. More complex installations — such as a system conversion or a move to a new location — may take up to 2 days. We'll always give you a realistic timescale when you book.
Do you need to come and survey before installation?
For like-for-like combi boiler replacements, a survey is usually not required — we can confirm everything from photos and your property details. For system changes or more complex jobs, one of our engineers may visit beforehand to ensure everything is planned correctly.
What's included in the fixed price?
Everything: the boiler, all labour, flue and pipework connections, a free Hive Mini thermostat, a free MagnaClean filter, old boiler removal and disposal, a power flush, and your Gas Safe installation certificate. There are no hidden charges.
Which boiler brand do you recommend?
For most Manchester homes, we recommend Worcester Bosch — they're the UK's best-selling brand for good reason. As accredited Worcester Bosch installers, we can offer you the full 12-year warranty. For budget-conscious customers, Baxi and Ideal are excellent alternatives with 10-year warranties.
Can you install on the weekend or in the evening?
We try to be as flexible as possible. Weekend installations are available subject to engineer availability. Call us to discuss your preferred date and we'll do our best to accommodate.
What if my new boiler develops a fault?
Your manufacturer warranty (up to 12 years) covers parts and labour for any manufacturing faults. Our 1-year workmanship guarantee also covers any issues arising from our installation work. We register your warranty on your behalf on the day of installation.
Is finance available for a new boiler installation?
Yes — we offer 0% interest-free finance on all boiler installations. You can spread the cost over 12, 24 or 36 months from approximately £29 per month, subject to status. See our finance page for full details.
